I haven’t tackled the old fashioned cake, but I did make the ricotta cake on p. 118 (with frozen strawberries rather than raspberries - lots of them in my freezer from strawberry patch…). I used mostly bob’s red mill GF flour mix - I was about 1/2 cup shy of having enough so made up the difference with almond flour. Made it for my brother, who has celiac. Have to say, it was pretty dang good :-)
