I adore my fiancé (and no, we haven’t gotten married yet, much chagrin to you solicited advice) but he won’t do things the way I want him to , even though they are arguably still edible. I’m also thinking about my sister who is undergoing treatment for a serious illness. I also got a little misty reading how Max gave you an apple because I know if my fiancé did something similar, it would be so far outside his character that I only would feel loved. I am glad you have that in your life as well.
