A few weeks ago, I watched "Fast Food Nation." It gave me several nightmares and was deeply disturbing. If you want to continue to enjoy delicious beef on the backs of ill-treated immigrant labor, please avoid. Also, there is a disturbing sex scene. And the cows! The poor scared cows. It's really awful, I am not ready to give up meat completely. But I just wanted to warn you, I so enjoy your recipes and your writing and I don't want you to have nightmares.
I made this for myself on Saturday as a fancy solo lunch and basically wanted to drink the sauce (zero shame). I’m trying it with pork chops tonight; I’m planning to marinate the chops in a version of the sauce and grill. I’m sure it’ll be awesome!
