This sounds divine.

Having said that (forgive me, Alison)—Maldon also makes a smoked salt. If smoked salt caramels are a yummy thing, perhaps smoked salt on this would be good also? Whatever, I will be making this recipe. Whether or not I share (you did say it was good up to 5 days), is up for debate.

I am not a fan of smoked salt, but if you know you are, then 100% would be perfect here.
