I made preserved lemons for my family for Christmas two years ago. Do you typically make your own or buy them? I'm curious, if you do, what put in the jar with them as they preserve. I used black peppercorns, coriander, thyme, rosemary and maybe some other things that I'm not remembering. I live in Bloomington, Indiana, so of course I didn't realize you could BUY them for $8 until after I had babied multiple half gallon jars for 10 weeks (but I put them in little le parfait jars and that really made it)!
