This slaw is also great with fried catfish, pulled pork sandwiches, or just plain cornbread and sliced tomato. Also divine when you have a mouthful of slaw and hush puppies in one bite! Forgive me…I just had a love affair with a bowl of coleslaw. But seriously…Alison…you should do a Southern Fish Fry Home Movies episode! I’ll let you borrow my Daddy’s Vietnam era Coleman fish fryer. Whole fried catfish, homemade French fries and hush puppies, coleslaw, tartar sauce, lemons, sweet tea, cold beer! We could also have raw and steamed oysters to snack on while we cook!
