The great food writer MFK Fisher, who I believe you’ve reincarnated, wrote of learning how to cook in Dijon, France, long ago as a 22-year old newlywed. The Madame who owned the simple apartment where they first stayed taught her how to cook on a 2-burner camp-style stove top. It served her well.
