I’m old. There was a restaurant in Philadelphia in the 80s called the Rusty Scupper…they had a California Shrimp Salad sandwich on the menu that I loved. It was shrimp and avocado slices served open-faced on rye bread with a cocktail sauce mayonnaise. I made it tonight using this recipe and it was KILLER.
