Commenting because I live in Salt Lake! I’ve been here almost three years (originally from NJ) and we actually do have some really good restaurants (and a really great farmers market!). I usually find new restaurants to try from a few local instagram accounts I follow (or just spotting places around town). Takashi is definitely one of our best and would be a great place to eat at the bar solo (as long as you like sushi)!

One thing I love about our restaurant guides is that a lot of social media food bloggers are writing biased reviews because their food is comped or they are invited to the restaurant.
