I was so happy to see this notification pop up in my feed! Congratulations and so happy to hear you are enjoying this precious time! Can't wait to follow a newsletter as it grows authentically with you.
Last week I held the Shabbat themed “what is your Roman Empire?”. Guests were required to dress as a topic they think about often.
Truly it was an excuse to make exclusively your recipes for the menu. Served up the squash soup with lentils and herbs, eggplant parm, & lemon pepper browned butter pasta, with a side salad and browned butter sours.
This time with your baby is incredibly sacred. Stay in the bubble as long as you want. With so many other aspects of your life in public, keeping this special moment for just you and your husband makes sense. Congratulations! I'm super happy for you.
Take Lindsay’s good advice. Stay in the bubble as long as you want. I led a business meeting by phone the day after my son was born and although it went fine, I regret it all these 32 years later. Kinda silly I know but still a bruise on my heart for deciding wrong!
2 weeks postpartum here and hear you on all of this. Here for the newsletters and the recipes when and however they come. Glad you're committing to authenticity during this raw and transformative time because how could it NOT change/shape/shift how you operate and express yourself in the world? Welcome back and congratulations :)
You encouraged me to chip away at a block of Parmesan like it’s a cheese board cheese. Which I did this morning while simmering soup with a Parmesan rind bobbing in there. I’m happy you’re back writing. And that you’re a mom!
Congratulations and thanks so much for the update. Love your post, it was just perfect. Enjoy your precious moments, they just keep giving and giving, beyond all expectations.

This was so beautiful! I am currently pregnant with my first and cried throughout this newsletter! Thank you ✨💛
6 weeks postpartum here and I feel remarkably seen… the walk to CVS in particular! Sending love from another tired, milk-heavy being.
Welcome back and congratulations!!! 💕💕💕
So glad to have you back!
Mazeltov!! Take your time. Your readers love you and love your sweet family and we will be here.
Congratulations and welcome back 🎈

This made my month and it's only the 6th
I am thrilled that you and babe are happy and healthy. Welcome back and look forward to reading and cooking with you.
From the moment you announced your pregnancy, I was so excited to see Alison Roman do motherhood. Very excited for this chapter of your legacy

Love to hear it! Mine are in middle school now and it makes me smile to hear about your early days and remember mine ❤️.
