Hello and welcome to A Newsletter. If you’ve found your way over by some miracle but are not yet subscribed, here, let me help you with that:
Hello friends—A friendly reminder (and the first newsletter reminder, so if you’re just hearing about this….tell me how you stay so blissfully off Instagram, and how can I do the same?) that Roman’s merchandise, the last of its kind, is on sale NOW.
It will be made through the end of the year, and then never again, so if you’re keen to get your hands on this limited edition run, NOW IS THE TIME. The time is now.
After the Sweet Enough line, I wanted to do one with ALL of the books. For fun. Christopher Chang (@negnance) did the illustrations, and all the references are from each book (boiled potatoes, IYKYK?)
We have long sleeves and crewneck sweatshirts, tote bags (my current favorite— soft, flimsy-in-a-good-way recycled material in a perfectly large size and bold colors) and The Nora Hat (incidentally, my dads favorite hat).
While the merch will be on sale through the end of the year….
…you MUST order by this Thursday, December 7th if you wish to receive it (GUARANTEED) by December 23rd via ground shipping (please see the details here for all other shipping info, i.e. 2-day shipping, etc).
Thank you to everyone who has already purchased, everyone who has sent me texts of people on the subway in their sweatshirts or of their friends with the totes. Thank you for representing this imaginary restaurant, I wish it were real but am also so glad it’s not.
And, UNRELATED (but related?), if you’re looking for signed copies of Sweet Enough (and maybe a few of the others), Books Are Magic HAS THEM! They’re wonderful and they SHIP, so head there to secure your copy.
See you tomorrow for the last Home Movies (but not last newsletter) of the year!
xoxo, merch girl
I stay off Instagram for the most part by taking the app off my phone and only being logged on my desktop... when I needed it for my business, I used an old iPhone I kept on a drawer to stay logged on to do my posts. Using IG on desktop sucks and I can’t really be on there for more than a few min... I hear about all your stuff via email!
