I miss the specific post-promoted comment threads because it was easier to find what you were looking for by topic, but this is what Substack has given us. Instagram is a cluttered mess, so it’s still the best place to get my attention and get those questions actually answered. Plus, gives you an opportunity to weigh in with your own expertise, which I know you all have plenty of.
In case you were wondering how I’m personally handling Christmas and the first night of Hanukkah falling on the same night, here’s my menu plan for our house full of family over the week (we’ve got one pescatarian and one egg allergy). I'm travelling to my parents' house for christmas (meaning I am staying in their house) and I normally do all of the cooking. My mom is catering dinner this time "to make it easier on me" when secretly I cook because I am a severe introvert. What on earth do I do with my time? Halp!
